Over the past 30 years, she has hand-crafted many beautiful costumes for dancers and figure skaters, bespoke bridesmaid dresses, flower girls, and outfits for ring bearers. She also uses her talent and eye-for-detail to perform alterations and repairs on various clothing pieces. Over the years, she has expanded her talents to include embroidery, window curtains, and bedding.

Allyssa has always had a fascination and knack for arts and crafts ever since she was little. Growing up, she enjoyed those frequent trips to the fabric store with her mom Brenda, where she would find herself intrigued by the rug-hooking, beading kits, fabric paint and all of the fun sparkly trims and embellishments. She first learned to hand sew when she was just 8 years old, a small skill she needed for adding sequins and pearls to her first communion dress that her mom had made for her. After learning some basic sewing skills, she then went on to make a puppet for a school project and throw pillows for her bed.
Fast forward to years later after having a go at Arts college, Allyssa began assisting her mom with sewing face masks and digitizing machine embroidery patterns for small custom work. Now Allyssa has taken her drawing skills and crafting abilities to work alongside her mom making mainly dance and skating costumes.
